What was once considered a snack for rural farmers taking respite in teahouses is now a staple of Cantonese cuisine. Literally meaning ‘touch the heart,’ dim sum refers to the dumplings and other small bites that do indeed produce an emotional response. At Tung Yuen, the variety of dim sum includes steamed chicken siew mai, crystal prawn dumpling, pumpkin sweet corn dumpling, scallop dumpling, bamboo leaf dumpling, black mushroom dumpling, carrot mai dumpling, seafood chicken dumpling with crab roll, steamed crab roll dumpling, crystal pa, BBQ chicken bun and the food are endless.

The varieties of dim sum will also be accompanied by Szechuan Hot and Sour Soup, Fried Rice, Yee Mee, Fried Vegetables and Chilled Longan.
